Michael Kors Chronograph Crystal MK5165 Women’s Watch

Yesterday, my friend Sally came to work sporting a brand-new watch. It looked just like the jewellery piece she had on her wrist. Sally is a stylish young lady who loves her bracelets and trinkets. She had on this gorgeous stone bracelet alongside the watch and the effect was extraordinary. Sally was basking in compliments courtesy the watch.

The watch in question was purchased from the Zeta Watches online watch store by paying only half the listed price because of a discount deal. It was the Michael Kors Chronograph Crystal MK5165 Women’s Watch, beautiful and elegant; a gorgeous timepiece with a hint of jewellery …making quite the style statement.

I understood why Sally chose this Michael Kors watch – it was a stylishly created timepiece with crystals around the bezel which continue on to the lugs as well. Three sub dials denote the hour, minutes and seconds (remember this piece offers the chronograph functionality). The clear white dial ensures you get the time at a glance.

The stainless-steel case and bracelet give this watch a sturdy feel. It may be somewhat large for the small wristed ladies out there but it looked really great on Sally’s wrist. A quartz movement powers up the watch while a scratch proof mineral crystal offers protection to the dial. The fixed stainless-steel bezel set with crystals is the unique selling point of this watch. There is also a date display and luminous hands and markers to tell the time at night.

The MK5165 is water resistant to 100m depth, meaning it wouldn’t be affected by water splashes or even the occasional dive into the swimming pool. At an approximate case diameter of 39mm this is a distinctly large watch and wouldn’t be suitable for small wristed women like me. If large watches are your thing, then I’ d recommend the Michael Kors MK 5165 Chronograph Crystal as a must have timepiece.

Michael Kors MK 5165 is a versatile timepiece, it won’t look out of place for any occasion. It can be worn every day to work or paired with some exquisite jewellery pieces for a special occasion. Either way it is sure to jazz up your attire and enhance your sense of fashion.

The Michael Kors MK5165 may seem a tad on the expensive side considering just the few standard features being offered. However, Michael Kors is a well-established and recognised designer brand in the world of fashion and the designer label is what we pay for. Dress watches are rarely bought for their features but the looks are what matters in the world of fashion. And, the Michael Kors brand does produce some really glamorous timepieces.
